Biography
Dr. Gwen Morse is a Professor in the Global College of Professional Advancement at the University of Arizona Global Campus. She serves as Lead Faculty in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN) program.
Dr. Morse earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and completed her Ph.D. in Nursing at the University of Arizona.
Her clinical background includes more than 25 years in critical care, while her teaching career spans 35 years across a wide range of educational settings — from vocational to doctoral programs and from traditional classroom environments to online learning.
Dr. Morse’s administrative experience includes serving as a Director of Education for a multi-hospital system, Program Director for MSN and BSN programs, and Dean and Director of Assessment. Her research interests center on women’s health issues and health promotion.
She has authored numerous publications and has presented nationally and internationally on topics related to nursing education and healthcare advancement.
