Kelly O'Sullivan, CPA, MBA
Biography
Kelly O’Sullivan is an Assistant Professor of Accounting within the Global College of Professional Advancement at the University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC). She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and received her Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in International Business from Bentley University. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a concentration in Accounting from the University of New Hampshire.
Kelly brings seventeen years of teaching experience at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, along with several years of professional experience in accounting, international business, and management. Throughout her academic career, she has shared her knowledge and passion for business with students, serving as a professor, curriculum developer, and team lead, where she has coached other instructors on best practices in online education. She has also collaborated with faculty on various university initiatives aimed at improving student and faculty experiences.
Before transitioning fully into academia, Kelly worked in the corporate sector as an Internal Auditor, Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant, Supervisor of the General Ledger Department, and Controller for a $100 million manufacturing corporation. Her professional background spans both domestic and multinational organizations, including French, German, and American corporations, and she has experience in both for-profit and not-for-profit sectors.
Kelly remains fascinated by the business world and finds fulfillment in sharing her experiences with students and collaborating with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning at UAGC.
