Biography
Dr. Lane Andrew is an Associate Professor in the Global College of Integrative Learning, Division of Foundational Studies, specializing in Sciences and Mathematics Studies at the University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC).
He earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from the University of Northern Colorado, his Master of Science in Mathematics from the University of Denver, and his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Colorado. Dr. Andrew has taught a wide range of mathematics courses—from 4th grade math through abstract algebra.
His first experience teaching was as a tutor for homeschooled children and struggling college students, but most of his career has been spent teaching at the post-secondary level. He especially enjoys helping students understand challenging mathematical concepts, and his favorite course to teach is statistics.
Dr. Andrew has been teaching online since 2007 and has served in various administrative roles at the University of Arizona Global Campus. He resides in Denver, Colorado, with his wife, Joyce, and their children.
