Lauren Arrasmith

Biography

Ms. Lauren Arrasmith is an adjunct faculty within the College of Arts and Sciences. She obtained her B.S. in Sociology from East Central University in Ada, OK, and MA in Psychology with a specialization in organizational leadership from the University of the Rockies in Denver, CO. 

With years of experience in both public and private education, Ms. Arrasmith has contributed to the field through roles such as middle and high school substitute teacher, private tutor, and college student advisor/coach. A strong commitment to helping students of all ages learn and grow remains a lifelong priority. 

Ms. Arrasmith has a passion for teaching sociology, mental wellness, and related fields and is driven by the belief in their importance for understanding the world and equipping students and leaders with the skills necessary to succeed both academically and in everyday life. Dedicated to ongoing personal and professional growth, Ms. Arrasmith strives to continually evolve as an educator and an intellectual, with a focus on fostering student success.
