Margaret “Candi” Pringle’s path to success wasn’t always so certain or clear.

She was born in prison while her mother was incarcerated in Middletown, Ohio. Rather than leave her to the care of social services, her mother’s first cousin, Mary Emma Watson Washington, came to care for newborn Candi.

The University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC) Class of 2025 has much to celebrate! On Sunday, June 1, 2025, nearly 2,000 graduates and 11,000 guests will convene to celebrate the entire graduating class of approximately 8,000 eligible graduates during a commencement ceremony at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona. It is an incredibly exciting time for graduates and the University, and the entire UAGC community is ready to honor the Spring Class of 2025 in style.

The UAGC 2022 Major Matchup has a winner! It’s been an exciting five weeks, and after some upsets and surprises, a new major has been crowned the victor. In this fifth edition of our annual game, students, faculty, and alumni voted for the top 8 faculty pitches and the majors they represent from the School of Business and Technology and the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Arizona Global Campus.

If you’re the inquisitive and learned type, you may already know that psychology is among the most popular college majors in the United States. The National Center for Education Statistics reports that in 2021-2022, 129,609 of the 2 million bachelor’s degrees handed out were to psychology graduates – making it the fifth most popular of all college majors. 

The results from Week 2 of the University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC) 2022 Major Matchup are in, and we officially have a Final Four.
