Crystal Parker

Crystal Parker is the founder of Center of Light, a non-profit organization committed to serving families in the community. Crystal recently completed a four-year qualitative research project, delving into parental perceptions of how screen-based media influences the literacy skills of 3-5-year-olds. Crystal is the mother of two, and with her family, she finds joy in various activities such as sports, traveling, continuous learning, cooking, exploring anime, and indulging in some game time. Crystal’s philosophy revolves around ensuring that all children and families have the right to learn, be loved, and be granted opportunities to succeed. Her goal is not to judge but to be a LIGHT as she lifts, inspires, guides, heals, and teaches, illuminating the community one family at a time.
