Biography

Kayla graduated from UAGC with a bachelor’s in early childhood development with differentiated instruction with the early intervention specialization and a master’s in psychology with an interest in developmental psychology. She is certified by the state of Arizona as an early childhood specialist, professional development (training) provider, and technical assistance provider. Kayla holds an Arizona K-12 family sciences teaching certificate, and she is a certified cognitive coach for children with autism. She has experience in ECE as a teacher, administrator, and early interventionist. Currently, Kayla is an ECE instructor at UAGC and a freelance early childhood consultant. She also has a special needs child whom she homeschools and provides habilitation services.
