Biography

Pat Barton is the Early Coordinator and philosophy, science, and mathematics instructor for the AZ Montessori Teacher Educator Program. She has trained Montessorians for more than 15 years. She has been a Montessori early childhood guide for 20 years. She currently works as the instructional coach at a public Montessori school in Tempe, AZ. She has an American Montessori Society AMS Early Childhood credential. She has a BSJ with a certificate in integrated arts from Northwestern University, an MA in Education from Ottawa University, and an MA in Informational Resources and Library Science from the University of Arizona. She is currently completing her Ph.D. dissertation in Montessori hybrid teacher education at the University of Buffalo.
